4x4
How do I disengage the low 4x4 on my 2000 Explorer?
It's stuck there and won't change back to Auto 4x4. I tried turning the vehicle off and restarting it but it is still stuck there. I've got to be able to drive it regularly too.
According to the manual it needs to be in park or neutral. It doesn't help.
I suggest reading your owners manual. Some 4X4 vehicles have to be rolling around 5 mph to disengage from low to normal,when you making the switch.
