advanced racing suspensions

A solo race couple questions ...?
I want to put my 03 Subaru Impreza WRX for solo competitions. I need to know what the class my car would be more competitive with far too many changes. I want to start a race like a weekend warrior "and I was interested in the "stock", "STX" and "Street prepared" classes. What cars are most popular in these classes and that tires, suspensions, etc., would be the best for my car? I care less power and more about handling and reliability. It's my car every day leads I can not build a car race track only. Also, nobody knows what the spring rates are on a stock WRX? and how do I change the suspension / geometry to make the car more neutral balanced? or fear of change the car understeer to oversteer in the corners? Hopefully autocrossers there will be a few courses that can help you. It appears that you have the basic understanding of the class structure - and that will probably determine what you do with the car. I do not autocrossed time and do not really follow what about these days, but more than likely you'll want to stay in stock or STX. Prepared street can get pretty hairy. Stock allows mods like cat-back exhaust, shock / shock replacement, replacement of brake pads and DOT-legal tires ... that's all. I do not know how the suspension is adjustable over a WRX - some of the luster of the factory Miata is "eccentric" bolt holes that allow a wide range of alignment options. The irony of "stock" is about .... you need to get a second set of wheels with dedicated "race" tires DOT-legal autocross. SP is the same in this regard. STX allows some more stuff, but I think it is run on real street tires. Honestly, try to find a blog or a forum and do some research. There is probably a community autocross WRX huge and you're sure to find them. No matter what category you go, however, do not be too crazy to modify the car. Depreciation and tires and maybe the brake pads are the mods are only really make a huge difference for a novice. Gains will be made LARGER sharpening wheel-to-interface seat ... you. Even if you use dedicated autocross tires, which is a good idea since autocross can be pretty rough on your tires on a daily basis, those are used to get someone running road racing club or Pro Solo or something. That way they are free or cheap and if you rotate the car and ruin them, well. Having only the fear of damage $$$$$ you will probe the edges and really hone your skills, without concern to worry about destroying something precious. This alone will make you faster than you would on a new $ 600 + all the last-n-largest tire du Jour. Also, do not drive the setup for the first two years. Ask someone who works well with another WRX, they will probably offers the largest leaves of installation, since you are new and will not challenge them. Get the alignment to your liking, you pressure tires to a comfortable level using the ancient techniques flank chalk, and leave the car alone. Isolate the variables to your conduct. Autocross is more like golf and less like football. It's more like target shooting and less like war. You humans are the biggest component of your success and refinement solitary your skills will always be a challenge.
