Full sized dodge pickups have bad front end suspension. Are there after market products that improve design?
I am looking for information about products that would have greater longevity and performance than the original production pieces of the full size 4x4 dodge pickup front suspension and geometry. I am not looking to lift my pickup or make it into an offroad beast. I just want it to last a very long time.
hotchkis or Addco sway bars would be a good, inexpensive and very noticable modification. Besides this, the addition of aftermarket shocks (Bilstein or Edelbrock is GREAT on the Ram) as well as replacing your ball joints with those of the Moog brand.
OEM shocks, ball joints and bushings are just awful. You should be able to find some good and very inexpensive ($20 tops) urethane suspension bushings. Depending what model, driveline and year your truck is, these are all options.
